Scott was one of the founding members and President of Laurus Strategies, a full-service insurance and HR consulting firm that delivered innovative solutions to mid and large-market clients. As President, he led Laurus to scale to over $40 Million in revenue. A Master at Scale, after Laurus was acquired, Scott shifted his focus to the SME market building an HR Solutions organization, EmpowerHR which consistently won both the Best Place to Work award and Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies. His servant leadership enabled EmpowerHR to grow to over 130 professionals and positively impacted over 20,000 worksite employees, an inspiring people-first culture.

Scott serves on multiple non-profit boards and is an active member of YPO.  He received his BA from DePauw University and his MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Scott and his family live in Lake Forest, Illinois.  He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, especially creating mind-blowing experiences outdoors: cold plunging, sailing, skiing, hiking, running, and much more.
